Traditionally, when sending such packs, the user would have to send an email with large attachments and hope that it would not be blocked as spam for exceeding size restrictions. However, the DataCare Solutions system uses a control panel which will automatically merge various attachments into one PDF file. This file will then be sent to the client in the form of an email and a download link.
The download link informs the client that they need Adobe PDF Reader to view the file, has a link to where they can download this and a link to the actual PDF for the Home Information Pack.
The control panel also allows the sender to track the email and see if/when it has been read by the client and if the PDF file has been viewed.
