VPN can be utilised to connect two networks over the Web but, it should be noted that the speed of this connection will be restricted to the users access speed and any speed restrictions of the Web at any given time. An ever-increasing requirement for today’s business is the need for remote access to the LAN by personnel working from home or ‘on the road’. A link can be provided using Remote Desktop to enable this option.
